I wrote a plugin for Chrome that replaces anonymous tumblr people with strong female role models.
Results are hilarious.
Would anyone want this?

Dad: Why do you think they do that?
Girl: Because the companies who make these try to trick the girls into buying the pink stuff instead of stuff boys want to buy. [x]that awkward moment when a child understands the harm of forcing gender roles better than most grown male politicians.
Always reblog.
I’m surprised that I haven’t reblogged this, to be honest.
I love that last gif. She looks so frustrated. Like “Um, hello, obviously girls and boys can like anything why doesn’t anybody get that???”
Speaking of different body shapes. These are all basically peak human bodies.
How come 99% of them don’t conform to what the entertainment industry tells us is the perfect body?
This is a FABULOUS set of body refs. So glad this came back across my dash so I could reblog it here :D

I won’t put words in her mouth. For my part, the idea took some getting used to. But we got along exceptionally well from our very first conversation that it didn’t take long for it to become a non issue. We are so incredibly compatible it’s amazing. Nobody I’ve dated has ever been anywhere close to this perfect for me. Love is love right? So really it hasn’t been an issue at all.
From time to time, I get people trying to accuse me of not being ethical. Like they can’t believe there is a scrupulous person in the world and they are just waiting for my true colors to show. People say I steal things. That I ripped off jokes. I’ve had someone accuse me of stealing a front page post from reddit. And when I went to look at the post in question, it was a picture of me.
I started as a stand up before I got sick. Joke stealing was a serious deal and I still take it very seriously. If something I make is similar to someone else’s work… it is a coincidence. Two people converging on the same idea. That happens all the time. But I give my word as a frog and a scholar, I do not steal ideas or jokes.
And if you are trying to catch me doing something unethical, I’m afraid you will probably be disappointed. At worst, you will catch me making a mistake. And if I make a mistake, I apologize as soon as it’s brought to my attention and do everything I can to rectify it.
I guess what I’m trying to say is, accusing people of wrongdoing is a serious thing. If you are going to do it, be damn sure you have the evidence to back up your claims. Or you might end up looking silly.
If Hoyoung Lee’s concept printer becomes reality, you’ll never throw away another pencil stub or buy another ink cartridge. The pencil printer separates the wood from pencils and uses the lead to print documents. There’s even a built-in eraser component that allows you to remove text from a page and reuse the paper, so you’ll be saving money and trees.
INNOVATIVE MINDS!!! Blooming and blossoming all around! This is brilliant!
